Performance-Installations

Since 2009, I’ve been making performance-installations as my interests have shifted towards developing experiences that offer alternatives to traditional norms of theater and gallery viewing—particularly the expectation of sitting or standing quietly for long durations.

I’m interested in the potential of creating a shared performance environment that is a generous experience, something potentially more free and chaotic.

My work in performance-installation offers audiences the ability to choose how they are comfortable in viewing, and recognizes how the different ways people experience a performance is an essential part of completing the work.
