"Rhythm Bath" Gets Great Support

The Rhythm Bath project, being developed in collaboration with set designer Mimi Lien and a team of neurodiverse advisors, is heading towards its premiere in Philadelphia in September 2023. This suite of performance-installations explores rhythmic entrainment and interpersonal synchrony—uniquely human traits of neurologically connecting to external rhythms and other’s rhythmic movements. We aim to create a level playing field in which a certain way of being in—or controlling—one’s body is not privileged.

We had a great residency at the Clark Studio Theater (NYC) in April 2023, as part of Mimi Lien's artistic residency at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Next up is a residency at Christ Church Neighborhood House (Philadelphia) in August 2023.

Big thanks to PEAK Performances at Montclair State University for providing a creative residency July–August 2022.

And huge news! Rhythm Bath has received funding from the New England Foundation for the Arts' National Dance Project and The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. We are so grateful for this incredible support.
